Type: Black IPA
Alcohol Content: 6.2%
What Makes it Unique: A black IPA. Not your typical IPA.
Final Grade: B- (Original Ranking: B)
So I have tried a black IPA before. And it's interesting. As an IPA fan I enjoy the hops. And there are definite hints of chocolate in it. I wasn't sure I would like it as I like my IPAs bitter and my stouts dark (and different!).
But this is a nice mix. You still get the bitter IPA with a nice stout finish. I know this isn't the only black IPA out there. But I'd have to say it is one I really enjoy. Check it out!
